My experience with both aestheticians and medical laser technicians coming out of school is that they are extremely limited in their scope of knowledge and most importantly in practical experience. Where the problem lies is unrealistic expectations as to monies spent on the students part, Without good mentorship on the spa’s part, no one is setup for success in the work.
Quick translation: it’s hard to compensate people until they are fully trained ...very expensive for spa owners.
